Officials with the US Department of Justice have charged six people in Jefferson County, Texas, with owning and operating an illegal gambling operation. The charges named in the indictment include one count of conspiracy to operate an illegal gambling business, three counts of money laundering and four counts of operating an illegal gambling business. Software supplier WagerWorks announced Tuesday that it has signed a deal with Tatt’s Group subsidiary Talarius to provide the Australian gaming operator’s online casino Quicksilvergames.com with its full suite of games. In a company press release, WagerWorks said Quicksilvergames.com has already integrated the software supplier’s remote server into its existing platform.
Australian online-gaming operator Centrebet International Ltd. said last week that its earnings outlook for the fiscal year ending June 2009 would be worse than expected.
