Business: 888.com sees revenues increase

The European online gambling site 888 Holdings Plc, posted a revenue increase of seven percent during the second quarter of 2009. The company, which owns such sites as online casino 888.com, internet poker room PacificPoker.com and sports gambling site Betmate.com, stated that company revenues reached US$61 million

Many aspiring amateurs get starry-eyed at the mere thought of rubbing elbows with poker legends like Daniel Negreanu, and many poker sites have been cashing in on this idol-worship by sponsoring their own teams of pros.
